Required and recommended information:

Mists of Pandaria farming items will come in handy. There are two major must have items if you plan on farming anywhere In MoP content for herbs and ores. One will be the Mist-Piercing Goggles, this allows for players to  find extra nodes anywhere within the expansion. This item can set in your inventory and DOESN'T need to be equipped for the effects to work.

The other item NEEDS to be equipped for it's effects to work. This item can and will be tedious to farm if you don't already have it, or unless you get lucky enough to get it shortly after grinding. The Forager's Gloves can be obtained two different ways. Go to Kun-Lai Summit and kill Korda Torros, he has a 10% chance of dropping these bad boys, and is highly sought after for those gloves. Setting a level 100+ character is recommend for camping for the fast kill. The Timeless Isle holds four other enemies that drop these fashion-less gloves. Burning Berserker 1.2%, Eternal Kilnmaster .06%, Ashleaf Sprite .03%, Blazebound Chanter .02%

Other things that will increase Ore per hour in Mists of Pandaria are Tauren's Racial, Druids for their flight form. Tauren druids, wink, wink. and lastly but not least Darkmoon Firewater, which can be bought off the AH or found in creates fished during the Darkmoon Faire event. The numbers above are my statistics and mine ONLY, this is what I would get, every server is different, and competition can destroy results. Take a moment to realize these aren't numbers aren't accurate and will only disappoint you to expect the same result for every run.
